They Kept the Promise: The 2017 Hokor Scholarship Award Programme

Within 365 days, it was time for another examination session. Togbe and Mama Hokor kept their promise of investing in young people and organized the 2017 exams on Saturday, 2nd  September 2017 “tegadugbe” as per the Tanyigbe Yam Festival calendar, albeit difficulties. Feedback from the 2016 exams process were used to improve the 2017 process. The rules were clear; pupils who were brought from outside the four primary schools in Tanyigbe to write the exams, were allowed to write but were not eligible for the scholarship.
